Yesterday was a fun day laying brick with Teja, listening to Katie’s stories and cooking food. The costumes and dancing at the end of the evening were an added element of fun. For dinner I made:
- Beef Salad with Eggplant and Red Peppers with Ginger Shoyu
- Wheat Noodles with my Pesto
- Sautéed Swiss Chard and Radicchio
Teja’s dad had sent a HUGE box of “osembe” (Japanese rice crackers) of all sorts and flavors from Japan. Everyone enjoyed sampling them, including one of the family’s new kitty, Ichigo. The video shows that these rice crackers are loved by human and animal alike!
